Most chilled place in the world

Our next goal was 4000 islands in the heart of the Mekong River. A rough ride on the night bus took us from Vientiene to Pakse, where rapid change, and we were on our way back. On the night bus, we met an Israeli couple and had a good talk with you about politics and religion in the Middle East. It was good to hear your take on things contrary to the views of our media until we said to go from a neighboring Chinese lady (it was just bloody 9.30!) in the bed.

Anyway we arrived on the island of Don Det and some accommodation. Live here seems to slow down in first gear when you thought it could not get of any slower, it fell in neutral, the engine switched off and took on a steady Trundle…nice and peacefully. People here were very friendly and laid back extra Laos. We stopped a few nights in a room to a room at our sought after local sunset bungalows free came. It was when we arrived, we really resigned and was in the swing of things (quite literally)

(on our hammocks). Our House was a basic wooden hut, armed with the main fan and Mozzie net. All we needed was a shared bathroom and a view of the horizon of the west facing the Mekong. Days spent lounging on our hammocks watch a beautiful sunset every night, read, and the occasional swim.

We came across Stevie and Kristine in Luang Prabang, we met, so it was great to catch up with you and have a few beers. One day, when we rented bicycles and rode on the next island where we saw a large waterfall. We headed south where the Mekong River really spreads and went in search of rare Irawady dolphins (freshwater dolphins). We saw one of his head that far in the distance bob up short, but we are still claiming it as a sighting! Another day we have a few tubes (tractor tyre inner tubes) set and swam around the Mekong. We had some great neighbor named John and Angie (John was supporters and Angie from Manchester from London and QPR). Really nice pair chilled. All 4 of us were sad to leave, but we went for a couple of Champasak

Days together...

Back to my place of birth

Hola!

I am writing from Los Tajibos hotel, one of the most beautiful and relaxing places on Earth! I am so happy to be staying here for about a week. This is the first time that I have a real holiday all by myself in my adult life have had. I take my time here in Santa Cruz to the relax and is for advance planning... That's a lot of travel!

Santa Cruz is a tropical city in Bolivia and it is where I was born 20 years ago. I'm mainly here to connect I seen in 4 years have with family members. I realized a lot has changed the 3 new additions to the family since my last visit, namely, and that are my nieces and nephews (2nd cousins of American terms) has grown so much! Be great to see that I have a beautiful and warm family in a beautiful and warm location. I will be here for two nights, then I in back to La Paz for about a week direction am, before I go to study in Buenos Aires.

I'm starting to enjoy traveling on your own. Anyone who

me knows know well that I rarely separated from family or friends (I like sharing experience with other people-i am an extrovert) … but flying solo is not so bad. Sometimes its hard just sit back for me and enjoy doing nothing in particular because I feel I always, to do something productive or I'm "wasting time" (any Middkids out there I know exactly what speech). South America teaches me how to slow down and enjoy the time doesn't mean I'm wasting it. Although I rest, am, my mind still anticipating what's ahead: Buenos Aires, Israel, Turkey. I try to keep me in one place at one time but I'm so excited for anything (this is the small child in me yet).

On a side note I am very excited for my big sister AIDA's wedding! It is back in April, that is, so I have to fly back to RI for a weekend in time for classes to Buenos Aires, but I would twice around the world travel make your special day!

I'm gonna go some rays to catch before the sun goes down (I'm hoping to tan)

(about this burn note to self generously foam on the sun block this time).

Until next time,

Guilhem

Aside from your place of birth is Santa Cruz city where most of our members of the extended family in Bolivia live. Take this great opportunity, some downtime in a beautiful to enjoy relaxed surroundings. You are totally right comment that often so busy in our daily lives (especially in the US), which we clueless we are, when it comes to enjoy some quiet moments. We must learn to enjoy life instead of constantly rotating around the wheel like a hamster!

Love you!
Nej! I love you and so happy that you enjoy your trip. Please send my love to the family. I can't wait to see you in April. Big hug... Xoxo
